Queensland State Government doesn't value human life
KENNEDY MP, Bob Katter is calling on the Queensland Government to start valuing human life following a fatal crocodile attack near Hinchinbrook Island.
Mr Katter said the State’s reactive policy was costing human life, with this latest incident the third crocodile attack on a human in North Queensland in the space of a month.
Katter’s Australian Party wants the reptiles removed from populated locations and the introduction of proper management of crocodile eggs – including higher rates of harvesting to control the exploding population.
“We aren’t talking about a crocodile issue, we are talking about the value of human life,” Mr Katter said.
“As Australians and as Christians we must stand up for human life.
“The Queensland Government has decided we can kill babies for whatever reason before they are born. They’re legislating this year to kill old people whenever they feel like it.
“Once you lose the respect for one human you lose the respect for the life of every human. We are now no better than the pagans or Nazis. These people worship trees and animals above human life.”
The Katter’s Australian Party introduce the Safer Waterways Bill into the last Queensland Parliament, but it was voted down by the major parties.
