Climate 200: Largest coal mining proposal in state's history wins approval
Did you forget to mention that Greg Mullins is also a Climate Councillor with the Climate Council and a founding member of Emergency Leaders for Climate Action? Does he have a vested interest in providing negative comments about coal?
It should be overwhelming clear from the comments on this article that Australians want, indeed we need, cheaper electricity.
We don’t need more radicalised commentary drawing links between climate change and the meagre emissions made by Australia when compared to the world’s industrial giants.
Government shouldn’t just be approving coal mines and gas projects it should be:
- Immediately introducing a East Coast Reserve Resource Policy to retain the coal and gas we need to bring down electricity prices; and
- Building efficient and new coal-fired power stations.
For too long inner city climate change zealots have been bankrupting the country with ideology.
Australia can and should be an economic giant... but we need governments that aren’t beholden to the woke inner city mob and the large multinational big businesses that feed off their philosophies.
